You’re not unqualified. You’re not broken. You’re just stuck.

And if you're like most of the high-performing people I work with, you’re somewhere in the swirl of:

  • "I'm tired of getting ghosted."

  • "I’m great at my job — but I suck at selling myself.”

  • “I know I could do this job if someone would just give me a chance!”

  • “I’ve seen how tough this market is so I want to get ready NOW.”

  • “I haven’t interviewed in years — I don’t even know what companies expect anymore."

  • "It feels like there are a thousand people applying to every job — how could I ever stand out?"

  • "I’ve lost confidence in everything.  And I don’t even know what I should be doing.”

You’ve tried everything:

  • Polished your resume (again).

  • Wrote 42 slightly different cover letters.

  • Networked with everyone you know.

  • Submitted hundreds of applications.

  • Networked some more.

  • Watched YouTube videos and listened to career podcasts.

  • Even asked ChatGPT to build you a personalized job search strategy.

And still… nothing.

Or maybe even worse — you’re landing interviews but they’re going nowhere, leaving you wondering:
Is it me? Am I doing something wrong?

You’re not alone, this market is tough

It’s no secret we’re living in an employer’s market. New job postings are flooded with top talent. Competition is fierce.

What worked 3+years ago just doesn’t work anymore.

The people who used to get interviews left and right — sometimes juggling multiple offers — are now facing rejection after rejection, struggling to get a call back.

And when that happens, even the most experienced, smartest people start to doubt themselves.

We all do it — I do it too.

Rejection chips away at your confidence until it feels safer to aim lower, apply less, or just… stop trying altogether.

But sometimes, all it takes is the right framing — and a little outside perspective — to remember your value and start aiming higher again.

“I kept seeing roles I wanted, but I’d think… I’m probably not qualified. Too many people have applied. They’re not going to want me.

That’s what Anusha told me when we first spoke. She wasn’t new to the job market — she had strong experience. She even had a great job. But every time she saw a role she actually wanted, a voice in her head whispered:

“That’s not for someone like you.”

She turned down one opportunity- an offer for a manager position- because she didn’t feel ready. She sold herself short in interviews and gave up on others before even applying.

What she needed wasn’t more skills.

She needed to believe in the ones she already had — and learn how to communicate them.

Anusha_v02.png

Imagine if you could stop guessing and start making moves.

GroupCoaching_Graphic_v02_edited.jpg

Picture this

✅ Knowing what to do every step of the way — an application strategy tailored to you
✅ Being clear on the roles you're aiming for — and why you’re a fit
✅ Having a resume and online presence that screams your value
✅ Reclaiming your voice and confidence after a toxic job or a brutal layoff
✅ Walking into interviews with energy, clarity, and momentum
✅ Getting hired into a role that fits — finally

You're not asking for magic. You just want clarity, confidence, and traction.

“I thought I was doing all of the right things”

Casey was ready to level up his career. Smart. Capable. He had always excelled in interviews.

But something felt different this time around. Even with referrals, he was struggling to get traction.

He made it to final rounds for roles he wasn’t super excited about.

But he kept getting rejected.

He finally landed an interview at his dream company — Netflix. A week after his final interview his recruiter reached out with an update.

The dreaded, “Unfortunately, we have other candidates in process better suited to our current openings” — The perfect role and a month of prep down the drain.

That rejection was the final straw, and what led Casey to reach out to me. On our first call he said to me:

“The door’s closed on Netflix. I’m not sure where I went wrong.  It seemed like they liked me, but I got rejected after the last round. They said they’d reach out if a better fit came along. I know that’s just recruiter speak because it’s been three months and I haven’t heard back.”

When you really want something - the door is rarely closed.

What Casey needed was clarity into where he missed the mark and a path back in.  His problem wasn’t how he was interviewing — it was what he was interviewing for.

The titles were misleading. He was applying for roles that sounded right… but kept getting edged out because “he wasn’t technical enough.”

We pivoted:

✅ Reframed his experience

✅ Found a better-fit role at Netflix

✅ Reached out to the same recruiter who’d rejected him

✅ Used feedback from other interviews to skip multiple rounds

✅ Landed his dream role, at his target company - with a $200K raise

Casey Collage_v01-01.png

What changed? Not Casey’s resume. Not his skills.

Just the strategy. The self-advocacy. The framing. The confidence.

A few things I've learned from being in the trenches with my clients:

The hiring process is broken — the people who matter often aren’t even seeing your application.

Being the perfect candidate on paper isn’t enough anymore.

The foundational work isn’t glamorous, but it’s the difference between spinning your wheels and getting traction. (Just ask Casey.)

Without a clear strategy, it’s easy to get lost — especially in today’s market.

Applying can feel productive… but without direction, it’s just motion.

Interviewing is a skill — one you can absolutely learn.

Viral job search hacks are noise. What actually works is a structured approach rooted in strategy and self-awareness.

You have to know:

  • What’s actually going wrong (most people don’t)

  • How to shift your mindset (especially after rejection)

  • How to frame your value in a way that lands

  • How to stop sabotaging yourself without realizing it

  • How to apply with strategy — not just spray and pray

You don’t need more noise.  You need a clear, actionable roadmap.

Sometimes the biggest blocker is believing your experience doesn't translate.

That’s where Elizabeth was stuck.

She came from higher education, working as a registrar, and had dreamed of moving into tech for years.

But every time she looked at job descriptions, she second-guessed herself. She worried her experience wouldn’t make sense to recruiters because she was pivoting.

“I’d spend hours scrolling career pages and reading descriptions. None of the titles matched what I’d done before. I kept thinking — maybe I’m just not the right fit.”

She questioned her qualifications and found herself applying to entry-level jobs, even though she had years of leadership and operational expertise.

Together, we uncovered the real problem: her experience wasn’t the issue — it was how it was being framed.

We translated her transferable skills, reframed her experience in language that made sense to ed tech companies, and helped her finally tell her story in a way that landed. She went from unsure and under-leveling… to confident and targeted.

Hey, I’m Sarah — and if you’re feeling stuck, I want you to know I’ve helped dozens of people in your exact shoes get unstuck and get hired.

Before launching my coaching business, I spent nearly 9 years at Google, where I:

  • Trained 1,000+ interviewers on how to assess candidates

  • Wrote interview questions that became Google standard

  • Taught hiring managers how to spot the right person

  • Was a hiring manager, interviewer and recruiter

  • Managed a global recruiting team responsible for senior hires across software engineering, product, UX, PgM/TPgM, and more

In other words: I don’t just understand hiring — I’ve shaped how it happens at the highest level.

Since launching Goose Gets It, I’ve helped clients land offers at companies including:

“But my situation is different… will a group program really work for me?

When people reach out, they usually want 1:1 support. They think:

“My background is unique.”
“My situation is complicated.”

“My career path is too nuanced.”

But after coaching dozens of clients through my Career Bestie program — across industries, levels, and functions — I’ve learned our challenges aren’t as unique as we think.

Whether I’m working with a Director at a Fortune 500 company or a career pivoter landing their first tech role, the same themes show up again and again:

🔹 The same core blockers show up
🔹 The same strategies help unlock clarity
🔹 The same patterns lead to real traction

And it makes sense — because hiring decisions follow a consistent structure.

I helped define those structures at Google — and now I’ve reverse-engineered them to build this program and guide you through your career transition.

In fact, this curriculum was intentionally designed for a group setting.

Group programs like this actually accelerate progress.

Research shows that cohort-based learning leads to faster breakthroughs, better retention, and more follow-through — because you’re not doing this alone.

You’re learning alongside smart, thoughtful professionals asking the same questions, facing the same roadblocks, and cheering each other on.

You’ll get lots of individualized support through the program:

✔️ Two 1:1 coaching sessions

✔️ Weekly office hours

✔️ Access to me between sessions for questions and feedback

If you still want more, you can book additional sessions at 50% off (hello, Founding member perk!). The program is designed so most folks won’t need them — but they’re there if you do.

This program gives you structure, clarity, and support — all at a fraction of the cost of my private coaching.

“I’ve always figured things out on my own… why should this be any different?

If you’re used to figuring things out yourself — I see you.

So many of my clients are resourceful, independent, and really good at making things happen… solo. So paying for help? It feels weird. Unnecessary. Maybe even like admitting defeat.

Even Olympic athletes have coaches. Is job searching an olympic sport? No. Does it feel like it sometimes? Absolutely!

Why DIYing your job search doesn’t work:

There’s too much information out there — and a lot of it is bad.

Even if you could tell the difference (and honestly, most people can’t), that still leaves you with hundreds of open tabs, conflicting advice, and no clear path forward.

That’s what keeps people stuck.

It’s not a lack of effort.
It’s the overload, the second-guessing, the “I think I’m doing it right but nothing’s happening.”

This program cuts through all of that.

It’s built from real coaching, real results, and actual hiring systems — not regurgitated LinkedIn tips or Reddit threads.

You don’t need a pep talk. You don’t need more Google Docs. You don’t need more fluffy content.

You need a clear, proven roadmap — with structure, feedback, and support — so you can stop wondering if you’re doing it right and finally get traction.

Could you figure it out on your own? Eventually, yes.

But what I can guarantee is this: you’ll see success much faster with the right support.

Artboard 1.png

The complete system to help you stop spinning your wheels and finally gain traction in your job search.

This isn’t another generic job search course.

This is a structured, step-by-step, high-impact program that cuts through the noise and gives you a proven game plan to:

✅ Narrow your focus

✅ Know exactly what roles to go after
✅ Market yourself with clarity and confidence
✅ Actually get in front of decision-makers

✅ Streamline your prep
✅ Interview like someone who belongs in the room
✅ And most importantly — get hired

If you've ever said:

  • "I just need someone to tell me what to do — and I’ll do it."

  • "I feel like I’m close… but something isn’t clicking."

  • "I want real feedback and accountability from someone who actually gets it."

Then this program was built for you.

Get Hired wasn’t just built on good vibes and my coaching experience.

Kearns_Headshot-01-01.png

To make sure this program wasn’t just helpful, but truly effective, I partnered with instructional designer Joseph Kearns — who works at UC Berkeley and specializes in designing engaging, accessible online learning experiences.

Together, we built the program using research-backed learning design frameworks — to make sure:

  • Each module builds logically toward real transformation

  • You always know what you’re learning and why

  • You can track your progress, not just binge-watch videos and tune into sessions, hoping for the best

  • You’ll have checkpoints and measurable assessments to make sure you’re actually applying what you’ve learned — and doing it right

Joseph brought the academic scaffolding. I brought the career expertise and market knowledge. The result? A program that doesn’t just feel good — it works.

So… what’s actually inside?

The Get Hired Program has everything you need to navigate this job market with clarity and confidence. We’ll apply the Goose Gets It 6 A’s, a proven and tested framework, to get you unstuck and into a role you’re excited about.  We’ll combine content, group sessions, 1:1 coaching, resources galore and community to set you up for success.

Here’s a sneak peak of how the 6 A’s will accelerate your career transition:

Artboard 1.png

Pre-work: Assess

  • Shake off the job search baggage and get back into the game with fresh energy and a clear head.

  • Discover what’s holding you back in your job search, leave self-doubt and self-sabotaging behavior behind, and unlearn ineffective strategies keeping you stuck.

  • Learn the 3 most important things for navigating this job market and start improving your search IMMEDIATELY.

Week 1: Amplify

  • Get clarity on what makes you THE candidate and learn to separate yourself from the competition.

  • Tell your story in a way that lands with employers - shifting from ‘What I can do’ to ‘What I can do FOR you. ‘

  • Build a flexible resume that passes the 8 second test and learn to QUICKLY tailor resumes to applications.

Artboard 1 copy 2.png
Artboard 1 copy 3.png

Week 2-3: Apply

  • Stop wasting your time on applications that go no-where.  Use our proven step-by-step strategies to get noticed and get your application in front of decision makers.

  • Follow our Network Alchemy method - the EXACT science of how to find and meet the right people. We’ll teach you the psychology behind effective outreach, or you can borrow from the templates and examples in our vault!

  • Discover WHERE and HOW to apply based on your target roles

Week 4-5: Align

  • Learn to craft Tell Me About Yourself answers using our simple 5 step formula - our framing is unique and a complete game changer.

  • Leave workplace traumas behind and confidently speak to gaps, layoffs, PIPs, exiting toxic employment & more.

  • Prep smarter - not harder (or longer) - using our signature streamlined system.  Say bye-bye to 20 page prep docs and learn to tailor answers to what companies actually care about.

Artboard 1 copy.png
Artboard 1 copy 4.png

Week 6-8: Ace It

  • Decoding commonly asking interview questions - understand what they’re *really* asking & how to nail your answers.

  • Follow my signature structures for answering behavioral and hypothetical questions - no memorizing scripts or pretending to be someone you’re not.

  • Make the questions at the end of the interview work for you.  Be strategic and learn why almost every recommended question you see online sucks, and how to craft better ones.

  • Avoid the pitfalls.  I’ve uncovered where candidates miss the mark through analyzing THOUSANDS of interview feedback reports.

Post-work: Adapt

Job searching isn’t linear. There will be highs and lows.
This final module is your anchor — to stay grounded, re-center your mindset, and keep showing up as your best self until that offer lands.

Artboard 1 copy 5.png
